53, DWF, living just above the AR river valley in the “sticks”.
I LOVE gardening of any sort; vegetable, flower and herbs. I also love canning. There’s just something rewarding about “putting away” something you’ve grown yourself and it’s beautiful to look at too.
This is actually my 3rd year to garden here at my father’s house. My Dad’s second wife died and he moved back home with me and we take care of each other. I’ve learned alot about gardening from him and my Home Health clients. There is so much one can learn from the elderly, if we just listen.
Last year was my first time to Blog about my garden; more for a diary of gardening with my Dad and of course sharing with whoever would look.
